LEADERSHIP CAPACITY

Leadership Capacity

We frequently get asked about “Leadership Capacity” or the ability to pull teams toward a common goal. As the leader of your organization, were you successful this year in setting and achieving goals? If you found you were not, let’s take a minute for some introspection.

At its core, leading is about effectively orchestrating a conversation that drives results. The ability to do that is leadership capacity.

To be successful, all organizations need people that can lead conversations. Doesn’t need to be complicated, but someone needs to drive a conversational connectivity between strategy and execution. Find those people, put them in the right spots, good stuff happens. Every time.

It’s the reason the Pachydermos logo is a speech bubble - we think it to be that important.

First, ask yourself, regardless of your title, are you the person translating between organizational strategy and execution of that strategy? If not, where are you spending your time; where are your conversations happening?

Perhaps you think you need to be more outwardly focused in order to expand your business presence. But your organization may feel that you are absent and no one is leading the conversation that explains the strategy and connects it to execution.

You may need to change that, or, you may need to appoint others to lead the conversation with the team.

If you feel as though you aren’t reaching your full leadership capacity, let’s talk. Chances are, we can coach you to elevate your game - info@pachydermos.com
